Girl Time!

So, since the men are all of at Men's Advance this weekend, and since it was Erika's birthday today, a couple of us girls went over to the Sapp's house with Cake, flowers and Chick Flicks! (Not a huge fan of chick flicks, but I decided I could bear it through it for this occasion) So, we cut some cake, and watched Little Women. It was wonderful! There was laughter, and some tears, but most of all, relaxation! That was the best. =) I made a rainbow layer cake for Erika's birthday and I was so excited how it turned out! Here are some pictures / steps on how to make it if you would like!

Step One:
Get 2 boxes of White cake mix and blend
Step Two:
Just like the cupcakes, separate the colors into bowls (about 1.5 cups of batter into each bowl)
Step Three:
Put the Cake batter into 9 in round cake pans
Step Four: Bake the cakes for about 18 min. each and then let cool

Step Five:
When the cakes are completely cool, cover each cake with a layer of frosting
The finished product (minus frosting on the outside) should look like this =)
Step Six:
Cover the cake with whatever frosting you want! I did Strawberry because I heard it was her favorite =)

Nate got her beautiful orange daisies and we got her purple mini daisies (I don't really know the name, so they will be called that)
The cake on the inside! I was super pumped! =)
So so pretty! =)
Also, so pretty! Happy Birthday Erika! You are a true blessing to me and I am honored to know you!

Enjoy!
