Trust and Hope

Wow. This past three weeks has been crazy! With Jonny's funeral and traveling to and from Seattle, moving into the girls apartment, working, moving into my new house [=)], Summer challenge, working, and much more! There has been a lot of busyness, but at the same time, I have also had a lot of time to myself and to think. I have had a rough couple of days and I am really deciding that Trust and Hope are why I am hanging on. God tells us and shows us that he loves us everyday. So, I hate to admit it, but I have been just getting used to that. I want to wake up every morning and KNOW that the Lord is watching over me that day and that i just want to live my every minute, hour, day, month, year, and life for him! I can't just get used to the fact that of course he will be there, I want to strive to see what he is doing for me! The events yesterday have really got my anxiety worked up and that kicks my insomnia into gear, so last night I could not sleep at all! I read some Crazy Love, then I watched an episode of glee (wonderful) =), then I cried, and then I just sat on my bed and I got my bible and I haven't really ever done this, but I just opened it and started reading. Of course, he was amazing and I opened to Psalm 62. It was amazing. The part that definitely stuck out is Psalm 62: 5-8. It says:
"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone,
my hope comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust him at all times, O people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for our God is our refuge."

I figured he would show me something, but I didn't know what, when or how he would. After I read this, I prayed and then, I was really tired all of the sudden. So, around 3:15 a.m. I finally fell asleep. But, after all of this, I just want to come out of it with my Hope and Trust in God bigger than it has ever been! So, I ask you: How is your Hope and Trust in God?

(Trust him! He knows what he is doing! Even if you don't!)
